On March 13, 2025, two individuals involved in a road rage shooting in Panama City, Florida, pleaded not guilty to multiple charges. The incident occurred on February 22, 2025, at the intersection of Highway 231 and Harrison Avenue, resulting in the death of 48-year-old Georgeann Garner and critically injuring her 19-year-old daughter, Marileigh Lewis.
Jubal Simmons, aged 23, and Ivybella Encino, aged 21, are facing several serious charges. Simmons has been charged with nine counts, including first-degree murder, shooting into a vehicle, evidence destruction, and resisting arrest without violence. Encino faces four charges, such as accessory after the fact, fleeing from police, and aggravated battery on a first responder.
