October 1, 2025, a shocking incident unfolded in Brooklyn, New York, where two teens were caught on video waving massive machetes on a busy street. This event, captured by the Boro Park Shomrim volunteer patrol, revealed that these young individuals, aged 14 and 15, were not just brandishing weapons but had allegedly stabbed one victim and threatened another.

The footage, which went viral, shows one teen wearing a red hoodie with a machete at his side around 5:10 p.m. on Monday. He was later joined by a larger group, including another teen in a black hoodie, also armed with a machete. The teens were seen running off into the street after being spotted by Shomrim members.

According to police, the teens slashed an 18-year-old man in the back and on the hip during a dispute. Additionally, they allegedly menaced a 26-year-old man with a machete at 45th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway. The quick response from the Boro Park Shomrim and NYPD led to the teens being apprehended, with dramatic footage showing NYPD officers cuffing one of the teens on the ground.
